The software (SW) coding education specialist brand, AsomeIT, has initiated a crowdfunding campaign for the SW coding education robot 'AsomeBot', designed to make challenging coding easy and enjoyable.
AsomeIT, created by IT/SW content company Blue Communication, is a brand specializing in software (SW) coding education. They provide a one-stop service including tools, educational materials, and programs to make difficult coding education accessible to everyone.
Notably, AsomeIT offers software coding education based on Physical Computing, which involves coding to control objects connected to computers. It enables hands-on, sensory-based coding education that has garnered significant attention.
AsomeIT provides an educational tool named "AsomeCode," which serves as a textbook and development tool, allowing for easy initiation of coding education without complex setups. Moreover, it implements block coding functionality, making it easier for children who struggle with coding to understand the principles and concepts behind SW operation.
Additionally, through the Click&Play feature, pre-written source code can be executed with simple button clicks. An integrated code editor within the program provides a real coding experience, allowing for smooth code transformation during the learning process.
AsomeBot, an educational tool developed by AsomeIT, is a bipedal walking robot capable of dancing, wrestling, and maze navigation through the use of ultrasonic sensors and servo motors. When connected with AsomeCode, various actions can be implemented through coding, allowing for the creation of unique movements. Furthermore, with a smartphone application (compatible with Android OS), children can wirelessly control AsomeBot. Moreover, they can create and execute various actions using simple block coding. The AsomeBot crowdfunding campaign will run until the 18th of this month through Wadiz, the Korean domestic crowdfunding platform."
CEO Jung Hee-yong of Blue Communication stated, "In order to become a good father, I studied SW coding and Arduino education with my children. This led to the creation of the SW coding brand AsomeIT." He added, "In today's era, IT is a fundamental part of our lives. In order to help children dream and create a happier future, we decided to launch AsomeBot. Starting with this, we will contribute to the expansion of an enjoyable coding education culture."
Meanwhile, Blue Communication participated in the KCON 2018 LA Export Consultation event through CJ's “Product 101,” an excellent support project for market expansion. This event marked the beginning of increased international interest, with preparations underway for exports to countries including the United States, Indonesia, and Vietnam.
