[DataNet, 20.01.06] Blue communications, a specialized software coding education company, was awarded the commendation from the mayor of Incheon for its successful execution of the 'SW Future Development Project' in Incheon in 2019. The project aimed to address the imbalance in community software education and create a systematic software education environment to generate future job opportunities and foster talented individuals in the field of software.
Under the leadership of the Ministry of Science and ICT, the city of Incheon, and Incheon Technopark, the Software Future Development Project in Incheon involved the participation of individuals from various backgrounds, including youth, career-disrupted women, and seniors. It offered high-quality software education, including unplugged computing, physical computing, 3D printing, and drone education.
Over 100 software education instructors trained through this project visited 114 schools in remote areas, including islands like Yeonpyeongdo and Daecheongdo, and provided coding education to over 3,000 children. Their contributions to creating a favorable software education environment in the region were highly praised. Notably, the software coding education service of AsomeIT, a self-developed software coding education brand by Blue Communication, was utilized in the Incheon Software Future Development Project.
