NewsNPFin Partners' Startup Discovery and Nurture Program 'Open Innovation 2nd Edition Demo Day' Successful

N15 Partners (Co-represented by Ryu Seonjeong, Heo Jae, Yang Dongmin, Kim Yeongbin), the operating organization of Incheon's first TIPS (Tech Incubator Program for Startup) and a certified accelerator by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, successfully concluded the '2020 Open Innovation Demo Day.'

The event served as the final event for the Open Innovation program, which had been running for approximately six months since June, and it was conducted in compliance with social distancing guidelines due to the COVID-19 pandemic. To qualify for the final Demo Day, the ten participating companies in the Open Innovation program presented their business feasibility and models through business performance evaluation sessions and investor relations meetings with venture capitalists (VC) who served as judges.

The participating companies included ▲Mycroft (AI development for smart office platforms for personal optimization), ▲Milestone 365 (web-based customized order e-commerce solution service development), ▲Mellow Company (a national political participation platform for communication between local district members of parliament and residents), ▲Motov (smart media devices installed on vehicle roofs), ▲Blue Communication (SW coding education platform based on physical computing), ▲Beauty Makers (on-demand cosmetic platform enabling K-beauty production with ideas alone), ▲M&C Engineering (installation and supply of flow meters, instruments, and system for industrial sites), ▲Tripleee (online premium used goods trading platform utilizing image sensing and machine learning-based group inspections), and ▲Pablo Air (software platform for operating and controlling cluster drones). The companies that made it to the final Demo Day were Tripleee and Beauty Makers.

Following the conclusion of Demo Day, N15 Partners plans to hold follow-up meetings with venture capitalists interested in nurturing startups. A representative stated, "Based on our expertise in numerous startup acceleration programs, we will actively support startups to ensure the sustainability of their business capabilities."

Meanwhile, the '2020 Open Innovation Program' is organized by the Incheon Techno Park Software Convergence Center and operated by N15 Partners. It aims to enhance and develop business items through a nurturing program and a TIPS-linked platform. N15 Partners has been conducting the Open Innovation program with Incheon Techno Park since 2019 and has successfully selected and achieved significant business results with two Pre-TIPS and three TIPS through direct investments thus far.
