For the newly established coding playground in the Software Experience Center, a total of five companies were selected through the evaluation of the Gangneung Science and Industry Promotion Institute's review committee. At the coding playground booth of Blue Communication, a provider of SW coding education platforms, visitors can experience AsomeIT educational toys and programs. AsomeIT is Blue Communication's specialized brand for SW coding education, offering an all-in-one SW coding learning platform that includes educational toys, dedicated educational programs, and applications. Especially in the operated experience center, visitors can wirelessly control the friendly robot-shaped educational toy called Asomebot using the dedicated application AsomeLab and perform commands using smartphone block coding.
Asomebot is a bipedal robot that allows learning coding through games and exercises such as dance, wrestling, and maze navigation using ultrasonic sensors and servo motors. AsomeLab enables users to create various dance moves for Asomebot through block coding, making SW coding more familiar and accessible.
Furthermore, Blue Communication's SW coding education platform, AsomeIT, has also been selected as an educational program for summer camps conducted by the University of Texas at Dallas starting in May. The summer camp at UT Dallas will include Python education utilizing Asomebot for children.
