Blue Communication announced that it participated in ISTE 2019, held in Philadelphia, USA, from June 24th to 26th, where it showcased online-based block coding tools and physical computing-based coding educational toys.
The company presented four types of software coding educational toys: AsomeBoard, AsomeBot, AsomeCar, and AsomeKit, along with an integrated educational platform called AsomeCode. AsomeCode is an educational program that enables effective learning of 60 different curricula. It allows users to learn physical computing through block coding and Python text coding without the need for complex setups or typing
The four educational toys provided can be learned, practiced, and expanded through AsomeCode. AsomeBoard features a CPU that is 10 times faster than Arduino Uno and 120 times more memory, allowing the simultaneous connection of 12 components. AsomeBot is an educational toy for learning robotics basics, software coding, and internet service development. AsomeCar offers functions for autonomous driving car development, software coding, internet service, and AI learning. AsomeKit enables learning of physical computing basics and IoT device creation through 30 examples while practicing software coding.
During the exhibition, Blue Communication also unveiled its block coding program called AsomeBlock. AsomeBlock automatically generates Python programming code corresponding to the assembled block program, which users can freely modify.
"We have completed the development of educational programs that can operate on Macintosh, iOS, and ChromeOS, which were not previously available." Jung Hee-yong, the CEO of Blue Communication, stated. "Our readiness to target the U.S. market and we consider this exhibition as a crucial step in penetrating the U.S. school market."
Furthermore, on June 24th, Blucommunication presented the UT Dallas University Summer Camp program. They plan to operate seven classes in two programs until August, providing education to elementary and middle school students in the Texas area.
